Overview
Hi there! I’m Chidera Valentine Okonkwo, a self-taught designer and entrepreneur with five years of experience building digital products across UI/UX, web development, and brand identity. Everything I know started with curiosity — I taught myself to code first, pivoted to design, and eventually built a studio around the craft. Today I run Studio0x, a design studio serving international Web3, AI, and tech brands, and BrickForte Homes, a Nigerian real estate firm where I lead all product design and digital strategy.
My work has been covered by TechCabal. Full background on EverybodyWiki.
✦ Outside work
When I am not deep in design tools, I am usually playing open world games like GTA, Red Dead, God of War, and The Last of Us. I also spend way too much time falling down YouTube rabbit holes about science and history, listening to Afrobeats and hip-hop, or travelling.
Visiting Cotonou in Benin Republic
, Qatar
, and Vietnam
— spending my 21st birthday in Hanoi gave me a real-life sense of sonder — changed how I see things. South Africa is next up this October!
✦ Tinkering
I use tools like Figma, Gemini
, Notion, and Claude to build fun stuff on the internet — generative workflows, design experiments, whatever seems interesting that week.
Fun Fact: this website was built entirely on Framer!
My work bridges digital and physical design, driven by one goal: to build things that last.
